When Cheryle Britton launched her workplace massage business, YOLO Wellbeing, in September 2019, she could never have foreseen the hurdles that lay ahead.
Armed with passion, belief and a serious work ethic the business endured COVID, pivoted and launched online service and put plans in place for the future.
They bounced back, supported the NHS (which they continue to do) and won some great contracts with clients they love working with.
In 2021 YOLO Wellbeing won the Red Rose Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year Award, which was their biggest achievement and proudest moment. That is until earlier this year when three fantastic therapists graduated with a Level 3 Diploma in YOLO Experience Therapy and joined the team.
The team doesn’t just consist of amazing therapists. Alison Shawish, who helped co-write the training Diploma joined as Strategic Health Advisor, creating, and delivering their CPD workshops; Maureen Abson heads training for the therapists, in the YOLO Experience Therapy diploma; and Anika and Emily deliver amazing wellbeing activities including dance, relaxation and mobilisation, HIIT and Pilates; online, in person and at events.
YOLO Wellbeing love what they do, and love seeing the difference they make with the services they provide. With exciting plans and big hairy ass goals they are ready to take on the next three years.
